Reds, blues and blacks

Beautiful spring skies this week.
And the red-winged blackbirds have been having lots of noisy parties by the riverside. Treating it like a spa day.

    The clouds are wonderful. And we seem to have an awful lot more red wing blackbirds around this spring.

    All we get here are gangs of squirrels. And yes - I mean "gangs" in the nefarious Daily Mail sense of the word.

    Nice photos on the rwblackbirds. I did not realize they were so gregarious--my experience with them is mainly around cattails when they are defending their nestsite.
