Cell phone SkyWatching

Forgetting to take your decent camera everywhere is not always a bad thing.
Cameras on mobile phones these days are pretty good - especially when you remember you actually have one in your bag.
Here are some random and not-at-all perfect shots of skies around Alberta over the past few weeks.
I have only straightened and cropped the photos, and then rubbed out the splattered bugs on windscreens!  No other special effects.
Not bad for a little camera, eh?
Have a lovely SkyWatching week.

  7. Yup... these compare favorably with some of the best DSLR shots! Phone cameras are amazing these days.

  8. Hello fellow Albertan!!!

I really like the sweeping vista with the meandering river. Camera phones do take some fabulous photos. My husband's iPhone has captured some of the nicest photos, even compared with my own little Nikon. At least you always have a camera at hand and your photos are nothing to scoff at.

    Fabulous!
