Skywatch Friday - The chinook effect

As a warm weather front comes in, it leaves distinct lines in the sky between the clear and cloudy areas.



6.55pm - the sun is setting and once again highlighting the cloud formations.

And it's 10 degrees outside too - bargain !

    That's one of the things I miss about southern Alberta, the chinooks! I always got a very 'high on life' feeling when those winds were blowing. Loved it.
