Let's take the dogs for another walk
on this cool and grey December day in Alberta.
Soft white flakes carpet the paths again over the weekend, and the heavy clouds threaten to dump a little more snow.
The day has no colour.
There is not another soul around.
Maybe all sensible people are currently huddled in front of a roaring fire?
No-one new to play with. Best go and do some investigations then. The river remains unfrozen, but is far too chilly for a swim now.
But hey, look over there - yay, another dog.
Let's see who can race to him first.
And suddenly, they are coming out of the woodwork.
The off-leash park comes alive and there are canine friends everywhere you look.
Now this is more like it!!
See more Tuesdays from around the world here.
Brrrrr! Definitely winter in your part of the world. Nice captures.
ReplyDeleteBoom thinks this weather is great!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteOh, it does look SO cold! Fun captures of the doggies. My dog, Sam, loves to go the unleashed dog park! Fun shots of your world and doggies! Hope you all have a great week! Stay warm!

What joy it must have been. Can't remember snow seen for the last time. Please have you all a good Tuesday.

Whew, it really looks so gloomy and real cold. No wonder my friend whose family migrated to Alberta 8 yrs ago, always think of going home here in winter. Maybe their bodies still remember the comfort of the tropics, most especially when you get your -34C.
ReplyDeleteI love when winter looks like this.
ReplyDeleteOh, lucky you with all that lovely snow! We're still waiting for ours.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that the only people out are dog owners!
Hi there - I miss the snow! Looks like you had a great walk.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Australia
I love this! I believe you really understand dogs. :)
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely walk with the dog. Glad it found some playmates.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm saying this but I'm a little jealous of your snow--we have NONE. Unheard of!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a bunch of dogs getting together for a good time!
I love to see happy healthy pets allowing their owners to come have some fun with them!
