When the snow melts, large puddles appear.
Reflections of fences in the still and still-freezing water.
Honey's eyes light up with sheer delight.
Time to go for a quick dip. The muddier, the better.
Smudge calls out to his mates
- let's play fetch ... right over here.
And after a ball-chasing run-around session,
all sensible dogs should dip their toes...
and grab a quick drink.
See what you humans are missing?
See what everyone else is up to.
Love to watch doggies playing in the water! What fun shots for the day! And, by the way, your header is totally breathtaking! What a glorious way to end or begin a day!! Enjoy your week!

Ah - pure bliss for dogs!
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are so adorable! I can imagine the bath Honey needed when she got home.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sure they were so excited. "Look, Ma, no snow!" (Or, at least, not more snow yet.)

ReplyDeleteSince good puddles should never go to waste, it is nice to see your pets enjoying them to the fullest. Your doggy tale is very cute and goes along well with the photos. :)
ReplyDeleteHehehe! What is it about puddles that dogs and very young children cannot resist?
ReplyDeleteWe need to cut loose like these guys!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm seeing some dogs that will soon need a bath.
